Lilypie First Birthday tickers

Black Friday 2010 will be a day we'll NEVER forget!

Dabney, Matt, and I went at 9:45PM to wait in line for the midnight shopping at Old Navy. (Yes, we some how talked Matt into going with us :)!) Well around 10:30PM, sitting outside the store as numbers 4,5,6 in line, I began to feel like I was going to pass out. I looked at Dabney and said, "I have to lie down right now or I am going to pass out!" She got super worried because I guess she could see in my face I wasn't joking. She asked me, "ARE YOU PREGNANT!" I said, "No I'm not!" and laid flat on the ground to keep from passing out. Matt said by me worried not knowing what was happening to me. I began to break out in a sweat and feel very sick. After I felt a smidge better I got into the car and waited for midnight....I had come this far, I wasn't going home without something! So by 12:25 I was done and we were on the way home. Matt said he thought I should take a pregnancy test because it made no sense I passed out. I said, I was just THAT tired and needed my sleep and that I knew I was not pregnant.

So, the next morning, I told my best friend Cayla about almost passing out and she said, "ARE YOU PREGNANT!" I assured her I was not and then remembered Matt wanted me to test. So, per his request, I took it while he was sleeping so I could tell him I did and it was negative. I thought for sure it would be negative! After I peed on the stick, I left it on the counter, made breakfast, and cleaned the living room. About 30 minutes later, I remembered I took the test; so, I went into the bathroom to throw it away to see TWO lines instead of ONE! I was SHOCKED! I quickly raised my voice to my sleeping so peacefully husband saying, "BABE WAKE UP RIGHT NOW THIS TEST SAYS I'M PREGNANT!" He sat up thoroughly confused and ran into the bathroom to look at it. We stared at it and I jokingly said, "How did this happen!?" (HA!) I only said that because knowing myself I thought there was no way it could have happened as I am irregular 100% of the time. (Sidenote: we can now say that its not 100% of the time!) So we both stared at each other saying, "we're not freaking out, we're actually pretty calm and excited" and begin to celebrate because we knew immediately this was God's work in us! So that was our black friday 2010. We finished that day telling our family.....ya we couldn't keep it a secret for 30 minutes! HAHA!
But decide to wait till a doctors appointment to tell everyone else.
